Ended a few hours ago the event that Microsoft organized to present Windows 10 new features, if you didn’t have the opportunity to watch here is a summary of what Microsoft will release until the end of the year.

Ao interface gráfico a Microsoft adicionou um menu iniciar que permite fazer full screen, esta é uma solução que pretende satisfazer os utilizadores que sentem a falta do no menu iniciar do Windows 7 e ao mesmo tempo os que se habituaram ao menu do Windows 8.
Not all features shown will be available in the next build of Windows 10 that will be available next week.

O Windows 10 vai estar também disponível para smartphones, o ambiente gráfico neste caso não sofre muitas alterações as novidades focam-se principalmente na utilização.
As novidade apresentadas na demonstração foram:
- Imagem de fundo no ecrã das aplicações
- Secção com promoted apps
- Centro de notificações sincronizado com o Windows do computador
- Integração do Skype com o centro de mensagens

The Universal Apps are a great opportunity for developers to increase the revenue from the sale of applications, the same source code now covers three distinct platforms with potential to reach a larger number of users.
Foi reforçado várias vezes focada durante a apresentação que a loja de aplicações no Windows 10 será única para PC’s, Tablets e SmartPhones, isto é possível graças às Universal Apps.
As universal apps são uma óptima oportunidade para os programadores aumentarem os rendimentos da venda de aplicações, o mesmo código fonte cobre agora três plataformas distintas tendo potencialidade para atingir um numero maior de utilizadores.
Microsoft is also working on the Universal Apps and with Windows 10 will be released:
- Microsoft Office optimized for touch devices
- Outlook
- Photos App, is a new application that aggregates and organizes the photos that each user has on several devices with Windows 10 will allow deleting repeated pictures and even make automatic touches like red-eye removal.

Microsoft is determined to end the relationship with the Internet Explorer and kill the bad reputation that this browser has gained over the past years for this bet all the chips in a project with code name Spartan.
Today’s presentation focused on the new browser functionalities.
A Microsoft está determinada em terminar a relação com o Internet Explorer e acabar assim com a má fama que este browser ganhou ao longo dos últimos anos, para isso aposta todas as fichas num projecto com nome de código Spartan.
A apresentação de hoje centrou-se nas novas funcionalidade do browser.
With the Spartan will be possible to take notes directly on site and share it via email or on social networks, this feature is optimized for users with touch screens that use stylus to write on the screen and also to users only with mouse and keyboard in this case the notes will be displayed like in a Word document.
Com o Spartan vai ser possível tirar notas de directamente num site e partilhar por mail ou nas redes sociais, esta funcionalidade está optimizada para utilizadores com ecrãs tácteis que utilizam canetas para escrever no ecrã e também para utilizadores apenas com rato e teclado ficando neste caso as notas ao estilo das notas de revisão de um documento word.
The Spartan will include a reading mode, something similar to what already exists in the Windows Phone 8.1. Reading mode removes all menus and advertisements of the page focusing on the content, this mode also lets you store a site offline for reading and like other Windows 10 features allows sharing of content among multiple devices with this browser.
O Spartan vai incluir um modo de leitura, algo semelhante ao que já existe no IE do Windows Phone 8.1. O modo de leitura elimina todos os menus e publicidades da página focando-se apenas no conteúdo, este modo permite ainda armazenar um site para leitura offline e tal como outras funcionalidades do Windows 10 permite a partilha do conteúdo entre os browser de vários dispositivos.
Finally the Spartan will include Cortana voice assistant.

O Windows vai incluir o DirectX 12 que vai permitir uma melhoria substancial no desempenho dos jogos.

Para o fim do evento ficou o Windows Holographic um novo conceito mantido em segredo até hoje que permite ao utilizador interagir com o ambiente que o rodeia utilizando óculos especiais a que a Microsofr chamou Holo Lens.
Os Holo Lens não são mais que um computador com um conjunto de sensores que permite a visualização de hologramas em 3D.
The user can interact with applications that support holograms and also use the Holo Studio to build holograms which can then be printed on a 3D printer.
Windows Holographic will be available in Windows 10, it will be interesting to see everything that will be developed for this technology by the end of the year.
O utilizador tem a oportunidade de interagir com aplicações com suporte para hologramas bem como utilizar o Holo Studio para construir hologramas que podem depois ser impressos numa impressora 3D.
O Windows Holographic vai estar disponível no Windows 10, vai ser interessante ver tudo o que vai ser desenvolvido para esta tecnologia até ao final do ano.
