With a new UI the Developer Edition includes the Valence a pre-installed add-on that lets you debug any web content running in Chrome for Android, Mobile Safari for iOS, and Firefox. The WebIDE was also included to let you run and debug Firefox OS apps directly in your browser, using a Firefox OS device or Firefox OS Simulator. Other key tools in your browser include Responsive Design View, Web Audio Editor, Page Inspector, Web Console, Javascript Debugger, Network Monitor and Style Editor.

Com uma nova interface de usuário o Developer Edition inclui o Valence um add-on pré-instalado que permite depurar qualquer conteúdo web em execução no Chrome para Android, no Safari para iOS e Firefox. O WebIDE também foi incluído e permite desenvolver aplicações para Firefox OS directamente no browser, usando um dispositivo Firefox OS ou o simulador.
