Another feature introduced in Windows 8 were Modern UI applications that were executed in an different environment from the Desktop, with Windows 10 Microsoft unified these two environments and all applications run on the Desktop. The Modern UI applications can be minimized and resized like any other application and they can be run in full screen.
Outra novidade introduzida no Windows 8 foram as aplicações Modern UI que eram executadas num ambiente diferente do Ambiente de trabalho, com o Windows 10 a Microsoft unificou estes dois ambientes e todas as aplicações são executadas no Ambiente de Trabalho. As aplicações Modern UI podem ser minimizadas e redimensionadas como qualquer outra aplicação além de poderem ser executadas em full screen.
Curious is the fact that with the Modern UI applications Microsoft have returned to their origins, in the title bar there are buttons to control the application in the left and right side like in the older versions like Windows 3.1.
Curioso é o facto de também com as aplicações Modern UI a Microsoft ter regressado às origens, na barra de titulo existem botões de controlo da aplicação do lado esquerdo e do lado direito tal como acontecia nas versões mais antigas como o Windows 3.1.
